2014 California Racing Events - Awesome
Ok guys, I am back from SEMA and OUSCI, big news for us in California....Optima Batteries who sponsors the Ultimate Street Car Invitational every year, has created a new series under the name Ultimate Street Car Association www.ultimatestreetcarassociation.com , with events across the nation, but best news is first one is at Laguna Seca on March 7-9 and second event is in So Cal at Auto Club Speedway on June 13-15....these events include Road Course, Autocross, Speed Stop, Design Challenge and a Road Ralley.....These are events that are qualifiers for OUSCI following SEMA next year, so I encourage all you track guys to take a look (Blake, this is all you buddy)...I traveled across the US this year to compete in these types of events, so having 2 this close to home is awesome. And all of these events in this series are being filmed for MAV TV.
In addition, American Street Car Series announced that Run to the Coast will be at Auto Club Speedway on Feb 14th & 15th, which is similar events to above, Road Course, AutoX, Speed Stop and Road Ralley... So, we have 3 serious events that will be draw serious competition, so you should all mark you calendars to attend if you can...and SoCalChallenge Series will be back in 2014 too....I can't wait....
