Texas mile Spring 2014 event

Registration is tomorrow. Anyone plan on going? Right now I'm thinking I'm going to skip it this go round and focus on my 1/4 mile times. I have very little time on my new motor and don't think I'm ready.

ADM/squash fuel system, Ron Davis radiator, Spal fans, AGP air to air, turbo plumbing. LPE oil cooler, rear bushing upgrade, roll bar...etc. rwhp 1400+... 212.5mph, best Texas mile to date.

I'm also going to pass this go round. I've got too many things I want to get done on the car.

I need to finish out the cage, get some new rear wheels, new rear tires, and quite a few other things... then get it all dialed in prior to the running rather than at the run...

Well, I changed my mind since the last post. I'll be there. Registration opens at 2PM today. I'm going to get a cage installed so I'm legal to go 200+. I guess I'll have to represent for the ERL block in a gen 5. I'm going to buy a set of Hoosier R6 tires also. I'll have to play with the limiter and the new tires on the dyno to see what speed the car will give me. 2 months to pull it together but I'm pretty sure I will be ready.

Bummer, I really wanted to meet you and take a look at your car.

I'm getting a roll bar installed right now so I can legally go 200 mph if the engine will take me there. No other Camaros heading out there this go round?

Awesome Colby! I looked at your pics on here, looks like you have a very nice turbo set-up. Are you making a lot more power than you had in Oct?

I will be, in process of new motor installation, 408 stroker, new CNC ported heads, bigger turbo, (85mm), 100 shot of nitrous, better suspension, hoping for around 900+rwhp!

I believe it is $500 for all three days, they do have pricing for two days just don't recall what that amount is.. however registration has been full for quite some time, but I believe they do have a waiting list. Go to texasmile.net for more info
