Road racing w/Factory Reproduction wheels
I plan to be more involved road racing and try auto cross. Will the Factory Reproduction wheels hold up to the stress?

There's no definitive answer. But many would choose not to run a cast wheel

I'm fairly certain they'd hold up, I've seen cars racing with all sorts of rims, but never seen a set 'go out' unless they go off track. The 20's aren't exactly ideal though, both from tire selection and size/weight perspective.

I raced a old Porsche 911, bought some well regarded aftermarket wheels that looked like factory rims so I could get right sized radial R compound tires,. Raced them maybe 2 or 3 years, and decided to drop down on wheel size for a change in class. Had them painted, no wrecks, hard impacts. Swapped them for the smaller set of rims. The shop that traded me for factory forged Porsche told me later, they bead blasted the after markets yo prepare them to paint/sell or use, every spoke had cracks in them (5 spoke tire). They had to TIG repair all 4 wheels. My lesson, use the quality forged factory wheels over cheap casted wheels. I'm sure these wheels would have held up forever w/o tracking.
