How to change/add apps to MyLink

I just got a new 2013 camaro with the MyLink system. My question is, How do i get newer apps such as Nav and Climate? Anything I can download or go in and do myself or what, I can do it with a written out step by step guide if someone can help me out with it please.

Can't get nav, or climate if it didn't come with it! Nav is only on certain packages, and climate is only if you're paying for sirius xm.

Unfortunately you can't add apps to your MyLink. The only way you could maybe get new app(s) would be to go to your dealer and see if they will install the latest MyLink firmware version (but I have yet to find a dealer who would do that so you might be out of luck unfortunately).

That sucks, seems like a waste of a touch screen if it doesn't have nav.

This is where that screen mirroring will come in handy. I would love to be able to stream YouTube from my phone to the Mylink. Everyday is it in my car before work and I'm on my phone. Would love to have that functionality.

  • hot and cold liquids
  • changing clothes
  • fixing hair
  • painting nails
  • making out with passengers
Somehow, these things are all legal, but we don't have the choice to push buttons when stopped or for our passengers to use those features.

Are you suggesting that those things should be illegal?
