Cool Need For Speed movie... Stang using Camaro halos?

As the title says, I went to see this movie yesterday and can't help but think that they used Camaro halos for the Shelby mustang. Having a hard time posting pics from my iPad, but check it out! They are even cut off at the top, just like ours are...

Guess they were looking for a real 'halo' car?

Not going to lie.....that mustang looks sick. The halos on the fogs are just your normal eagle eyes though

Seems the halo lights are not unique to Camaro.

Of course BMW brought them to notoriety, but you don't have to flame! It would be like if Mercedes started using them--THEN it would be a turf war for BMW.

Thanks all for the clarification. I was thinking they had come directly from the GM parts bin is all.

Movie was good, stang was pretty cool too.

And they actually had car sounds the entire time instead of music during car scenes

it looks okay,...it's just that it doesn't compliment the white lining (light?) on the signal light.

That's good to hear, especially if they're at least somewhat accurate. If you wanna know what I'm talking about for inaccurate, watch Pulp Fiction when the Wolf drives away in his NSX. Still accelerating and going through gears as he slows down (break lights on) and turns.

Anyway, I heard its more of a mustang ad than the first new transformers movie was a camaro ad.
