Painted Metallic Brembo's
So I was going to get the callipers powder coated, but wasn't comfortable with the company that was going to do it. So I decided to paint them. I happened to stop by my uncle who does all my painting, and he said he would to them. Called his rep, and got a high temp metallic blue to match my upcoming stripes.

I kept them to dry another full day even though they were baked at my uncles shop.

Looks good! I want to do our silver Benz's calipers blue also. Cant wait to see them on the car.
Whats this high heat paint? Is it just single stage paint, or a clearcoat also? |

You know, you CAN remove the wheel weights from the caliper. They don't remedy any issue with the brakes. 2012-2013 don't have them from factory.

My SS is a 2010. I was thinking to take them off, but wasn't sure. I know 2011+ they replaced them with "roller skates" so I figured safe than sorry. Would hate to have a vibration then have to put them back on. You really don't see them when they are put on anyways.

Nice looking calipers!
You'll need to clean the mounting threads and the ear (mounting point abutting the knuckle of all the extra material). You need flat clean metal to have the proper alignment.
