Shift management system
All,
Just wondering if there is a programmer or any way to eliminate the system that buts a block in the runner from 1st to 2nd when "Gear skipped for fuel economy" status pops up. I know there is a programmer out there to turn stabiltrak completely off, just wondering if there is a way to get rid of the shift management. My car gets much better gas mileage than my old truck and I can manage it myself without the car telling me I need to do it. |

Yeah I found one thanks for letting me know what to look for. Noticed your tag is 2014 2SS 1LE, you and I basically have the same car any place where I can find some good power adders? Most of the stuff I have found doesn't look like it matches up with the 2014, just the 2013 and earlier.

And that's what I have to do, but sometimes I need to be in first for that long then want to grab second and the runner is blocked to fourth, if I see it I give it more juice and get it bypassed high, but a lot of times I am not paying attention

That's not so simple. My 1LE is my DD and I frequently get caught up in town with traffic. It took me a week to get my skip shift eliminator installed when I got my car, and in that time, I hit the skip at least 20 times.

Yeah my 1LE is my daily driver so I cant always give it a butt ton of go, baby, go, especially on base

Mine doesn't come on that often. I just hold it in 1st for a few more rpms, you don't have to floor it to turn off the skip shift...its not about how far you push the pedal down, its about the rpm and speed you shift at

Yeah I know, but 1st seems just like a get it going gear, not a go, baby, go gear. So when I am getting on the highway and need to get it, I don't want to grab 4th at the moment I am shifting, I want to grab 2nd
