tune or no tune

I've had my camaro2ss/rs for a week now and have installed a flow masters exhaust. Wanted to install an CIA this weekend and wanted to know if I should get it tuned or not?

Out of all the mods I have done the Tune and headers were the most noticeable upgrades for power

With what you've done so far , no tune is really necessary. Wait until you put some long tube headers or a cam before you worry about the tune.

Don't worry about tune. Save it till you get headers or cam.
For a tune it doesn't matter if its 1ss/2ss but what does is it LS3 or L99?

well after I get the CAI my next mod will be long tube headers and 410 gears but I have to let the waters calm before I can do that since the wife is already giving me dirty looks. Was wondering if it is worth squeezing in a tune before since it will be about 3 to 4 months before I can do those other mods?

Any pictures ?

Also is your car a LS3 or L99 ... M6 or A6?

::: going to guess you have M6 since you said 4.10 gears :::

I would start your tune now and get a trinity programmer. Have it Custom tuned by their best guy. It will only cost you $145 and each mod that you do in the next year...he tunes for that mod...no cost!!

You can look at it rwo ways. A good "dyno" tune will cost $400+.....(money saved for headers n gears). Or, a reputable tuner will tune your car now.....then charge you much less to upgrade the tune later. I guess it all depends on your wallet. Personally, I would wait till you have everything in place, then tune.
