Well, mine's a '13 and I've taken a couple of 800 mile trips and a 3,000 mile one. All have been probably75% interstate, usually about 5 mph over posted speed limit so... 70-75 mph. Cruise and Range AFM disable in use (don't know if yours is A6 or M6).
On all of these extended trips I have averaged slightly over 23 mpg. Pretty good if you ask me.

I get about 28 on the hwy in 6th with cruise at 75-80. I live in a hilly area, too.

Keep a good distance behind vehicles to minimize bumper chips.

Mines an LS3 so it has the Manual 6spd, been averaging 23to 24 mpg on hiway. that was doing 90 to 95 mph in Mont. Even doing 75 to 80 in the rest of the states it's been about 24mpg. That's over the course of 13000 road trip.
