Cold air intake question
So I'm in the market for a cold air intake and I've heard a lot of good about CAI inc. Before I go ahead and get one is there anything I should know? Are they as good as everyone claims them to be? Are they hard to install on your own? Do they last? Any info on them or any other cold air intakes out there would be greatly appreciated. The link below is the one I am planning on getting.

I installed mine a couple of weeks ago. About the same degree of difficulty as an oil change but not as dirty. Love it! I have not encountered any issues with the MAF sensor and believe that if you do not over oil then you will be fine. It comes pre oiled and when it does get dirty I will probably just buy another pre oiled from the factory so I do not get problems. Hope this helps. I wouldn't be too concerned with running this filter. Some say if you get oil on the sensor it will attract dirt and send an error code. I don't think dirt can get past this filter!
Love the sound and the extra performance. I would do it again. |

I have the CAI purchased from Apex Chase with the scoop and washer tank relocation kit. And I love it. MRT v2 axle back and the car screams. Just love it.

Just put in a CAI yesterday and it is great. Easy install and I really do think I feel a few more horses.

I just recently put the Volant CAI on my L99 and i love it it also comes with the dry filter so you dont have to worry about oiling the filter every so often and the price is not steep its a good bang for your buck. It also gives a nice stock look to it.

Installed mine about a year and a half ago and have loved it ever since. My favorite mod so far. The look/sound/added HP is just perfect.

Just make sure you have a set of deep sockets, and install will be a breeze!

Does adding a CIA void your warranty in any way?
