Whipple K&N AIR INTAKE

Hey guys I was wondering if it is OK to use this intake with my Whipple it fits just fine I've had it for a while now and worked just fine while I was one the motor please let me know thanks

Think it would depend on tune you are running, if you are using stock whipple tune I think that's setup for modded stock air box with KN filter, you could prob gain HP with a custom tune for it.

I would strongly suggest you do not run that intake without a custom tune to make it work properly.

You could severely lean out at WOT and fail the engine.

If you not going to get a Custom tune with the K&N then don't run it go back to the stock modified air box.

I am running a K&N with my Maggie along with a Z-Force air induction hood, 40k miles and no issues, I do have a custom tune, really should be mandatory for any blower install.

i run a haltech yellow jacket on my whipple with a custom dyno tune. no issues. i gained 1PSI
