hey guys, I am reading that there are some people who don't like the shifter and if I felt the same, when I get my car, then I'm going to want to change it out. I would want to change it out myself but I dont have much experience with this kinda stuff. The guys at the auto shop are kinda sketchy and this will be my new baby so i dont want there hands on it just yet

. How would you guys rate how hard it is to change the shifter in the 2010 camaro (manual) from 1 to 10?

Of the various shifters on the market, are any installed without dropping the transmission? Seems I read about one a while back but can't seem to find it.
