looking for help with LED replacement bulbs ? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have a 2014 ZL1. I would like to replace my day time driving lights and fog lights with LED that match the color of my head lights . I would also like to be able to turn on all three lights at night and sill just have the day time running light during the day . I know this can be done but i do not know the best way to do it . Any info would help . Thank you

I bought everything for my DRL/Fog/Harness from Gen5Diy (http://gen5diy.com/).

You can contact him and he can put eveyrthing together for you and sned you an invoice. Really helped me when I was looking since I was also new to this.

With the harness, the DRLs are always on day & night. If it hit the fog switch during the day, Ill get DRL/FOG/HALO. Since the DRLs are on with the headlights at night, all you have to do is hit the fog switch to get all three.

That or phastek has the h11 and p13 upgrade bulbs. I did get the drl harness to keep all lights on though from Gen5DIY

with the bulbs from phastek, you don't NEED the harnesss, correct?

on a separate note, and not to highjack the thread, but is there a way to have the fog lights default to on when the headlights come on?

The bulbs won't change the stock configuration. You will need the harness to get what the OP is requesting.

I am sure GEN5DIY can custom wire a harness for that. I would think a simple wire tap could fix that as well but haven't seen anyone do it to say it works.

If you order the p13 and h11 upgrade from Phastek, do not get the wire taps. Cheap way to do it. On Gen5DIY they make the DRL harness. This will plug into the stock housing mounted for the DRL's into the fogs making all the lights active at the same time.
