i need some answers help please

alright guys i went to my local dealer today to get a price on my camaro that i want...well while i was going through the process of getting that done .........well the salesman told me twice while i was there that right now is the only time i would be able to buy my car at msrp because by the middle of september when all the dealerships get the camaros o there lots it will be very hard to find a camaro at the msrp and that once october rolls around that almost all dealers will be selling there camaros at least 5000 over the anybody out there help me figure out if this is true or just a dealer scam...any respnse will be helpful thanks

That salesman is a jackass. I hope you walked out and went to the next dealer down the street. All the dealers that are trying to sell over MSRP right now are sitting on inventory. Just the opposite will happen the longer you wait. Think about it, if every dealer has 20 Camaros on the lot how are they going to sell over MSRP?

Before you leave that dealer, go to the owners office and ask HIM that question, and if he says NO that is not the situation, then tell him that his salemen are telling you that very thing, and see what he says, either garrentee me MSRP right now, or I walk out the door and into your nearest competetor that will, and you have a list of them that will.
