2015 2LT Camaro w/RS

I have been frequenting this forum for over a year now. I am finally in a position to purchase a new Camaro. I am fairly young (23) and I want to own something to call my own. This will be a first car purchase for me.

I recently visited the local Chevy dealership and was quoted $39K out the door price for a 2015 2LT Camaro w/RS package and black rally stripes (really don't care about the stripes). I thought this price was on the high side; this was without extra warranty etc.

What price range should I be looking at? What suggestions would you have for me?

If you need any more details, please let me know. Thanks for the input.

I wouldn't pay no more than 29k out the door man, my buddy just got a 1LE for 33k and it only had 1100 miles and yes its a 14 but it's fully Loaded, Sounds Like they know your a 1st time buyer so they're trying to wack you.. keep searching.. just check our forum in the classified section and you'll see what I mean.. Good luck

Yeah definitely overpriced there. Go to the build and price on the chevrolet website and build a 2LT, I think you would find it very hard to get it to $39K. I would say as A. Dilla, $29K is about the top for me for a V6 unless it is a convertible then I may go a tad bit higher but $39k...........I believe the numbers from chevy for a base 1SS is around $38K.. so........

Run, run as far and fast from that deal as possible. Try to find a dealer looking to get rid of some 2014s. Should be able to get a great price. Besides theres really no differance between the two model years.

Thanks for all the replies. They basically trying all the tricks in books to convince me that was a good price. I told them no.

Funny part "The interest rate or price you pay doesn't matter. It's about the payment."
Just lol'ed and told him I studied Finance so that was not true.

Also, we have a different color 2lt w/RS that costs $4K less than the one you're looking it. Then couldn't tell me what the difference was or show me on the build sheet what the difference was.

Bro, i work for Wells Fargo, and I handle all the loans too. The interest rate is just as important as the payment. Interest makes the payment and determines the final price you pay at the end of the loan man.. get a low rate as possible.

My loaded 2LT RS was 33K and it has every thing but a sunroof. of course I bought it in 2013, maybe 35 to account for mark up but 39K is waaayy too much money.

My 45th doesnt have a sunroof or auto trams, and mine was less than 31 sticker I believe. That's including the 45th package too.

I paid 29,900 for mine but as stated mine was a '12 so tack on another 1100 for mylink. Like everyone has said anything over 33-34 for a v6 camaro unless it's convertible is crazy talk
