When you get the grill as is unpainted how far off is the color from GM's black plastics? (grills, skirts ect). Does it have the gritty or smooth finish.

Im asking because I want it to match my the zl1 lower grill as much as possible.

Unpainted should match the stock Grill in color and texture

It's smooth. Mine is unpainted, you'll see pictures of it next week but it won't have a stock lower grille so it'd be kinda hard to tell. Otherwise the link in my sig should have some pics of it

I see, its not really a match then huh, its more of a dark grey gunmetal then black. I guess I'd have to paint it a matte black to match it up and that will be difficult to match haha. Now im thinking the zl1 grill is a better way to go....

This will give you a better idea... not a ZL1 bumper but gives you an idea of the color..

Unpainted grill
