MP3 and WMA according to the manual. Any particular reason why you want to play WAV?

Thank You slick Rick, well some of the songs that I will have are from the library of the station I work for and they are in WAV file so was wondering if I would have to save them as a mp3. Looks I will now. Thank you very much for answering

I'd love to be able to use WAV. With drive space being cheap, I ripped all of my CDs on my Media Center PC using WAV format. I don't lose any quality this way due to compression.

Now, I have to transcode every song into WMA for my Zune and MP3 or WMA for my USB flash drives. It just takes time to do that but why not support WAV also?

very true rolnslo I wish it were that easy, I've just been saving them onto the flash drive as mp3 instead of wav

mp3 files are much smaller- burn a mp3 cd using itunes software- 700mb [do 695mb] of mp3 files will put 145-170 songs on 1 cd. I then copy n paste the mp3 files on this cd in to a folder on the flash drive. The folders name will show up on your display when doing a folder search. this process will keep the songs in the order you put them on the cd when going to its folder on the flashdrive.
