IO Rally Stripes
I saw this 2014 or '15 Camaro down on Longboat Key, Fl today. What appears to be factory stripes are a
bright orange compared to the very reddish IO stripes on my '10 SS. I'm wondering if GM changed the shade of the strips or again these might be aftermarket.

Man, I'm going thru the same thing.I bought a 2011 ordered from the factory, sold it, then later bought a 2010, both deals from the same dealership. I asked her to add my stripes back to the plain black Camaro and this is the color on the bottom. Although my camera wasn't true to the bottom picture either. I had an engine and fuse box cover painted by Lupe at River City Creations and the color is true to the first year of IOM for sure. I'm going to find someone to paint my stripes on here in Ky to get the color right. Look at the differences with and without flash on the engine cover. Thats my plain orange phone cover next to the "IOM" stripes.
I was told by my dealer they haven't changed IOM despite what I've read on this site. FWIW. Last edited by Hetfield03; 02-24-2015 at 02:10 AM. |

I can't even find a good painter locally thatll give me a prompt call back and an estimate. What would I look under in the online phone book, just body shops? Not everybody does stripes tho...
