I'm looking to see what kind of ideas my fellow C5 members came up with. I'm installing my aero sport concept ZL1 splitter & rocker panel extensions this weekend.

I was thinking about doing it but i would like them to be black instead of chrome. Ill be keeping an eye on your thread sir.

I got some black rods at home waiting. I got some 10 inch rods so I will have them coming down angled outwards. I'm picking up the pieces Thursday so should be soon

Plastic dip spray may be your answer.

When you are done putting them on can you please post a few pics. I would love to know how it looks. Scared to drill in my car though lol

Yeah I'm gonna drill into the top part of ZL1 lower grill. I'll have to replace it if I ever wanna ditch the rods and splitter.

I ordered the same kit as you, didn't plan on running support rods. Looked plenty beefy with the tabs underneath
