I got my quote for cam kit, trunion kit, install and tune. It was just a few dollars shy of $2k. What did you guys pay?

That is the cheapest I have EVER seen. In fact where is that shop located because the best quote I have gotten is like 2800.00...I'd be interested in taking it there for 2100.00 even if its 10 hr away haha

It's in Fresno, Ca. He does great work, I've seen the cars he has built

That is a great price! I paid $2100 as well, but also got the C5 chain and LS2 dampener included in my quote.

In any case, that is a smoking deal sir!

I paid $1300 parts, labor ,and tune. Ivan @ southwest speed hooked it up. Only thing I bought separate was the cam shaft itself from lethal. Also theres a few things that you can skip that aren't really a must like the trunnions and the spark plugs.

Ive got a quote for $3500 from a shop but that also includes trunion upgrade, C5R chain, high volume oil pump, and all the other goodies that go with upgrading a cam.

I got BTR .660 springs, BTR pushrods, melling hv oil pump, and ls2 damper. I skipped the trunnions maybe will do those when it's time to change out my springs.

I was planning on doing a DYI cam swap till I got this awesome deal. For that price I said have at it and dropped off my car on a Friday night and it was done by Saturday afternoon.
