Old school hood vents

Well I needed to get rid of some intense under hood heat ( keeps melting plug wires) Went for something different. I think they turned out ok. Replica 69/70 vents

Gives it a bold, different look. Interested in if it solves your problem.

We are just eurathaneing them in ,once they are set up can give u a under hood pict. I didn't cut any bracing in the hood or any extra holes that weren't in the bracing already. Definitely should give me some air flow. They come flat to fit in the 70s hood so I did have to very carefully curve them in the press to mould to ours

looks pretty good but the chrome part needs to be toned down a tick, you could have tried a 14/15 heat extractor if you didn't want the ZL1 look.

I like the part where they make "YOUR" car look the way you want, I've seen some of the same comments about hood pins and I still put them on my baby and I get plenty of compliments about the old school look and that's what I wanted so all I can say is its your car, your choice and I like them. Maybe you should plasti dip them and your rims black to fit in, NAA !

They're awesome, I love anything throw-back. I would paint the outside area of them black and keep the metal mesh the bare metal color. That's just me though. And after you finish them, yes, please post some under hood pics. Good work man! It's a nice look.

I'll bet they would look even better if you had them black chromed.
