USB port and Auxiliary inputs

I ordered my new camaro yesterday but unfortunately i was told that the convenience & connectivity package had a 'constraint' on it and it my car would be delayed if i ordered this package so i did not order it. My question is, does the Auxiliary input come standard or did it come with the convenience and connectivity package along with the USB input?

If the answer is that it only comes with the package, then can chevrolet install this option (an Aux input) for me after i get my car in? And if so, how much would it cost?

Also what about the steering wheel mounted audio controls, and parking assist. Can i get those installed later on as well?

what you need to do is BITE THE BULLET and order then NOW, it will end up costing you a lot more in the long run having them added later, not to mention having to do without them in teh mean time.

The Aux input is standard.

Parking assist MIGHT be added later. We will just have to wait and see what all it had installed and is connected to when the cars start being delivered.

Steering Wheel mounted controls can not be installed at this time. It requires a different PDIM then what comes on non-C&C vehicles and it can not be ordered at this time. It MIGHT be able to be done in the future but the wait time on this will be far longer then waiting on the constraint.

If I was you, I would call up the dealer right now and add the C&C package if you truly want it.

add it and don't look back. you'll never be able to add it afterwards. just wait and get exactly what you want.

There were some code changes in the ordering system. Your order will go into error status if the dealer uses "old codes".... They should have got a memo - if this is what's causing the issue.

And No constraint I know of on C&C. What did you order? 1LT?

Not worth the after market price and issues. Get it the way you want it, the delay won't be much because they know they need to sell these cars ASAP. Just buy the packadge and wait if it is what you want. Trust me the hell you will go through adding these options isn't worth the price or wait. I also don't think the functions of aftermarket add ons will be as great as GM has enginered there original add ons to be.
