Talking Matte Black Z28 Spoiler Installed

Finally, my z28 spoiler came in yesterday and I could not be any happier with it. Always wanted this Mod since I seen it on the z28 Camaro. The two holes I did not use, I put Aluminum Tape on top and bottom of them so water does not run down into my trunk. Did a 115 MPH Test today and that thing is secure and is not going anywhere

Is that the OEM Z28 spoiler from GM or is that an aftermarket? Where are the holes you covered, can you see them after install? Looks great!

Looks awesome. Did you have any issue with the paint under the spoiler?

They're under the spoiler. You won't be able to see them.

Actually no, It looks exactly like the oem one though. Lines up perfectly with the body! There are 6 holes that the oem spoiler came with and drilled in my trunk. The aftermarket spoiler came with only 4 so i used the far left and far right ones and the 2 in the middle. The other two I used aluminum tape on top of the hole and at the bottom just incase water doesn't get in. Just washed it yesterday and not one drop got into my drunk. You can not see the tape cause the spoiler is over it.

I tried the blow dryer method to where you heat it up a bit and then pull it off but I still got a little paint taken off. Luckily, I bought some touch up paint from chevrolet a month ago and touched up some of the little spots that it got taken off.
