MPD1 Z-force hood?
Where is the best place to get the mpd1 hood from? Is there anyone who sells it pre-paint them? My body shop wants $900 just to paint it the RJT
 Has anyone just plasti dipped there hood instead of painting it?Thank you for any input in advance!

Here is my MPD1 hood in RJT. My shop did a great job matching and painting. Get your hood directly from Eric at MPD1 for best price and service. $900 seems a little high for a plain paint job. I had A LOT of work done on my convertible, and total bill was south of 4k.

I personally have not painted RJT but my understanding is that it is a 3 stage process. Your shop may be quoting you for blending the fascia and fenders which is the proper way for a perfect job. That considered, 900 is really not bad at all.

That's not a bad price.With 26 veriations of rjt.They will have to do a lot of spray cards to match yours.Also the tint for the Clear is about 250.00 for a 4 oz. bottle.5 different metal flake colors also.They will also have to blend it with the fenders and nose.Make sure it is a good shop rjt is a tough color to match.

Thanks.The spoiler I have is a zl1,but Eric at mpd1 has a pretty sweet one and his stuff is top shelf.I would have bought one but at the time when I was purchasing a spoiler they were not available.I may purchase one in the near future.
