When is your dealership taking pre-orders?

Is anyone's dealership taking pre-orders anytime soon?

As the #1 Camaro dealership in Florida, Schumacher Chevrolet has been chosen as the 2016 Camaro Headquarters for Florida. Schumacher Chevrolet will be one of the first, not only in the state, but in the country to be able to pre-order one of the hottest new cars for 2016 - the newly redesigned, next generation Chevy Camaro!

If you are the person that has to be the first to have the hottest car in town, now is the time to act since the initial allocation will be very limited. You need to contact us right away to reserve your new 2016 Camaro. We will take your order and build out your generation six Camaro to your specifications.

To make arrangements, and to get all the information from our Performance Car Specialist Dennis Vaughan, please call 561-227-6025, reply to this email or contact Jason Powell at 561-615-3381.

The newly redesigned, next generation 2016 Chevy Camaro is on the way.

Don't wait!!

So why will allocation be limited? Such BS. We're not talking Z/28s, hellcats, or GT500s here. It's a new model of a mass produced car. They'll build as many as they get orders for just like in 2009. I don't know anyone that didn't get one that wanted one back then.

You have to understand that initially, demand will be very high, yet they can build then only so fast.

I'd guess that in order to make sure people throughout the states will have a chance to buy one, they have to somewhat restrict allocations at first.

As soon as production can ramp up to meet demand, the allocations will be adjusted accordingly.

I don't see how any dealership can take pre orders on a car that we have almost no info on...I know that thanks to this forum,i know much more about the car than any of the dealers /salesman around me.

Other than what is stickied at the top, no. Official brochures usually come out after the start of production and after the first units are in the buyer;s driveway. Pricing usually comes out before the start of production but after the order bank is taking orders. These time frames are across the Chevrolet vehicle lineup and not Camaro specific.

I know this time frame does not match the Gen5 timeframe, but the Gen5 was not done in a normal manner, in part because there were several delays before the start of regular production and also some verbal commitments Chevy made. I do not expect history to repeat itself with the Gen6 intro.

So the initial orders will be done without a price? How does that work, they just tell you everything available but no price?
