I'd guess that in order to make sure people throughout the states will have a chance to buy one, they have to somewhat restrict allocations at first. As soon as production can ramp up to meet demand, the allocations will be adjusted accordingly. |

Are there any official brochures out yet or anything that shows options and pricing?

I don't see how any dealership can take pre orders on a car that we have almost no info on...I know that thanks to this forum,i know much more about the car than any of the dealers /salesman around me.

Other than what is stickied at the top, no. Official brochures usually come out after the start of production and after the first units are in the buyer;s driveway. Pricing usually comes out before the start of production but after the order bank is taking orders. These time frames are across the Chevrolet vehicle lineup and not Camaro specific.
I know this time frame does not match the Gen5 timeframe, but the Gen5 was not done in a normal manner, in part because there were several delays before the start of regular production and also some verbal commitments Chevy made. I do not expect history to repeat itself with the Gen6 intro. Laborsmith |
