Now this is interesting. I wasn't expecting a new ZL1/Z28 a year after the Gen 6 released. I thought it would be a minimum of two years. Now, the other question is if they are going to continue with a ZL1 and a Z28? My gut tells me yes, similar to the GT350 and 350R. I'm sure both will continue to be awesome!

They say ZL1 but how in the hell do they know? That could be a Z/28. I have read other articles saying they did not think the ZL1 would come back and also read the Z/28 would neither so I will take that for what it is and I guess we will have to wait and see.

Great question considering the 427 Z06 became a LT4. I do wonder if this is the Z/28 and whether there will be a Zl1.......

So there will be a new model of high end Camaro then if theres no ZL1 or Z28? Because there is no way they are going to allow the GT350, Hellcat, and future GT500 to just compete amongst themselves without getting in on it. Simply not going to happen. There will be something... And it's pretty likely they'll use an existing name.
