Gfx front lip install?
Hey,
I was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes to install the front lip? I get it this week and don't want the dealer to over charge me. Thanks for any input ahead of time |

If you ordered it as part of your car, it should be put on for as part of the cost for the car. There should be no additional charges.

It took the dealership about 5 hours for all 4 pieces. The front took the longest, but I don't know how long. Also, I agree with Moorepheus - is this a replacement?

I ordered just the front piece after I purchased the car I didn't like the sides or back... Ordered it from Dave. I know the front bumper has to be removed so that's why I'm trying to find out. We all know how some dealers like to nickel and dime us

Yes, the lower portion of the front bumper has to be removed and they need to install all the rivets. Lots of issues with dealers NOT doing it correctly! I told them - take your time!
Good luck! Michael J. PS BTW, I was told by the dealer that GM pays them $420 for each install for all the GFX...and, my dealer said 5 hours.

pics?
any pics of the cars with just the front lip? I wanted to do the same thing, but haven't seen any pics. I'd like to do it before I put any stripes on.
