What's a set of rims worth?

Local guy is selling these rims.
He is asking $300
I'd love to put them on my black LT
Good deal or not?

Why get base model steelies when you can buy a set of stock SS wheels for another hundred dollars.

i would personally go with the ZL1 or Z28 replicas. It would be about $1000 but worth it

Considering that they are the least desirable, I would think that you should be able to get a very good deal on them. I would think more like $250.

Ps: love how people offer unasked for opinions instead of a answers to what was ask. That's how threads get derailed all the time.

I would offer 200 for steel wheels. How much do those things weigh?

Seems like a good deal; that makes each wheel $75 each. Of course I'm sure they're also used so it's not like you're buying new wheels from GM.

+1 the stock ss wheels for about $400 would be a much better deal.

I just bought zl1 replica wheels so I'll be selling my stock ss wheels/tires local only.

Thanks for the input.
I guess I'm old school and they remind me of the wheels I had on my 74 Camaro back when I was in the Corps.
I couold sell my present set and maybe make enough to get my VTC.

Me too... not a penny more. That's if I really wanted some ugly steelies.

I currently have the set that came on my LT.
I was thinking I could change the ring on the outside of the steel wheels to match a hilight color.
I understand each has their own taste.
Personally, I like the way the steels add a retro look
But then again, I have some pretty fond memores of my 74 Camara
Sometimes us old guys like to be reminded of good times gone by
