big cam drivability?

For anyone who upgraded their LS3 cam already, How has your car been as a daily driver since the cam?

Thats awsome guys, what type of cams did you go with?
And what type of tune are you running?
Just on the edge of getting mine done up here in Canada before she goes under the tarp for winter.

What is your cam specs and what do you consider a "monster" cam? I have been thinking i would like to install a pretty aggressive cam and while doing it i might as well get a set of ported head complete with springs and valves etc... I just don't know how far is too far for a street cam with a stick shift.

Well, I had the MS4 in my Z06 (in my sig) and I'd want to back down a few steps from that, maybe a stage II MTI

I would consider a Cam that makes "76,859.3 RWHP" a MONSTER Cam as well...

Remember a cam alone is nice but to truely perform it needs it's complimetory accessories to go with it. Headers, exhaust, intake, possible head work, tune. Not saying you don't know this. Just wanted to throw it out there.

Hey, im new to Camaro5 but hell i know im gonna fit in from what ive seen so far, LOL, i kept getting redirected here every time i tried to research the Camaro to the point where i was like "okay, to hell with it, i gotta sign up"

ANYWAYS, back to my post, lol, ive been wanting to get a new SS lately and have been researching non-stop (researching muscle cars is pretty much my only hobby, 4-6 hours a day at least, LOL, i need a life) but i saw the AMD stage 2 cam and it blew me away getting 460rwhp from just a cam swap on a true LS3 car (non-L99 i mean) so are there any other cam swaps that could produce more? Any advice on choices?

With all the supporting mods, headers, CAI, 3" catback, U/D Pulley, ported intake and TB , you can easily make more than 460+ rwhp...

Your tuner is going to be the one that gets the driveability issues resolved. I've got a fairly large cam and it took a little to get some of the low speed/constant RPM issues resolved.
