Mines not as bad as your drivers side, but it definitely not perfect. Gm has issues with the dash and doors lining up. It is the same on my wife's 2014 impala.

I will certainly look for this when my car comes in. Is this something the dealer can and should adjust or will they only screw it up? I know I need to go over the car with a fine tooth comb... would you not accept delivery for something like this?

Mine is the same but the drivers gap really isn't that big. I never noticed it until you posted that pic and I looked last night.

Wow. Are the pictures misleading? That gap between the front dash pod and the sides looks almost big enough to lose a small cell phone in there! Almost looks like the dash pod wasn't made to fit the sides.

Passenger side is .110, drivers is .326, or per there 1 mm panel fit clams, this one has a 5.75 mm differences, so yes you can but a small phone,
have a friend with a car built one week newer then this car and that panel fit is grate, but the front door rubes on the fender.

Maybe it's for weight savings. If they extended the dash all the way in the corners, that could add 5 ounces.

You think that's bad looks like the inside door panels are not the same size on my car, or the car was built out of square, i can stick my fingers in the gap, don't know how there going to get this right.
