To anyone wanting to get a 2014 hood for their 2010-2013, I can say it works well. The cowl lines are off a tad, but this doesn't bother me. I got the hood painted IOM to match the car. The matte vinyl was becoming a mission to keep up with. Painted the ZL1 spoiler gloss black.

I would like to get opinions on what the forum thinks about matte vs color matched hood.
I feel like both of them look good. But now that its color matched, I feel like the vent makes the front end seem less muscular looking. Like the matte finish made it look more serious... Hard to choose.

I like the matte hood better and I think that you should do your ground effects and spoiler in matte too to match the hood. Otherwise looks nice!

Its a little hard going matte on the GFX kit now. Besides, matte GFX trap lots of dirt.

Then I'd keep the hood orange if that's the case
