LeMans series is cool, and if more people paid attention to that type of racing they would have a new appreciation for what track performance really is and the cars that compete in it.

In the long term scheme of things it would be neat if they could groom the Camaro to compete in a class as well that would refine its handling characteristics

I should predicate my comments to mean Camaro needs to go SCCA type racing or promote a series much like Ford Racing does for their Mustangs. The Camaro would get its clock cleaned even trying to step foot in GT1 or GT2

Now it would but with enough R&D it could be up there in GT2. I would like to see a Camaro racing series... be a good stepping stone for them!

If you get a chance to go you wont regret it! Watching the P class cars blow by the other classes is amazing. Its very cool seeing all the different classes on the track at once.
