How do you soundproof the dash area - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I am currently working on adding a HUD to my 2013 and I figured I would finish the rest of the sound deadening material on the dash and center console. Does anyone know how to pull up all the carpet in the dash area? I already did where the floor mats are all the way to the back of the car. There are some weird plastic circles attached to a screw and for the life of me I can't figure out how to remove them without breaking them. If someone can assist I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
