Our SS

Purchased our 1SS a few days ago. Traded in our 2013 Charger RT Daytona. Not missing the two extra doors yet, my 10yo son doesn't even complain about having to sit in the back seat haha.

I've ordered a few details from 6ledesigns that I can't wait to get. Had the windows tinted with 20% all around. Look forward to browsing the forums.

Nice car, what did you get from 6LE?

Thanks. Nothing special. Just ordered some hash marks, the small black stripe between the taillights, and the grille accent decals. Putting in an order soon for the smoke taillight inserts from bigwormgraphix. Priced out to get the roof wrapped and antenna painted - so that will be getting done sometime in the near future as well.

I was thinking of getting the black out for the reflectors on the diffuser from Bigworm. If you get those let me know how they work out.

Looks good, I would definitely lose the dealer logo on the trunk. Good color!

Thanks SDG23. The dealer logo is long gone.
Unfortunately, the vinyl items ordered from 6LE were a waste. I have never been good applying vinyl, so I took the car to my local tint and detail shop to get the decals applied. I watched the owner struggle with the hash marks through the window inside the store, so I walked out to see what the issue was. He was having trouble getting the marks to line up with the fender body line and the top where it gets close to the hood. It would match one or the other, not both. After a few more minutes I just told him to do what he thought worked best, so he lined it up with the fender line. I hated that it wasn't perfect and pulled them off after 2 days.
Then the small black stripe between the taillights was all wrong. Centering the precut bowtie, the stripe was longer on the right than the left. 1/8 inch of silver was showing on the left and the stripe completely covered the right side. He patched it to look the same temporarily and will be removing it and doing his own stripe for $50 that will not expose any silver around the bowtie or at the ends.
I ended up not being a fan of the grille accents, so I took them off too. The only thing I ordered that I liked and/or lined up properly was the tinted taillight inserts from Bigworm. I highly recommend those.

Finally got around to taking some more pictures after the black bowties, tinted taillight inserts, and dipped wheels. Also took it to the track (Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds, GA) - 92 degree day. Did not lower tire pressure, avoided water box, and no burnout. I did not use launch control. Time was achieved in track mode with TC off. Could've done better but I'm happy with the time.
