I know this has been discussed a lot in the ordering section, but I would like to know how far did it take from the day of production to dealer receiving the car for Canadians (preferably Ontario)?

Mine was built yesterday and curious to know since i am going for vacation soon. Thanks everyone

Mine took 9 days....including a snowstorm.
Built on a Monday, arrived at dealer following Thursday.
Safe bet is 2 weeks.

Average is about 10 business days, more or less.

Depends on when they get a FULL truckload headed for Canada, then once they get dropped off at the Windsor depot, another truck has to pick them up from there and transport to the dealerships.

Well, at least if it comes while you are on vacation, it gives the sales guys time to give out test drives and give the mechanics a chance to see "What it can really do!".
So just relax.....you will get soon enough.

my 2ss convertible was built April 15 and still waiting for delivery. The dealer said it is in transit and will likely show up this week.

Thanks everyone, so it sounds like it will most likely arrive when I am out of the country lol 10th-17th. You're right, it will be all set up and pretty when i get back lol

I live in SK but my car was built on 4/4 ready to ship 6/4 and it is still there, was on hold for three weeks but no one will tell me why. Last I heard it was bayed again but still has not shipped. I originally ordered the car 2/18...grrrrrrr

I just bought a 2SS in BC, as close to what I wanted. I was told to get a factory order, there was a good chance it would get rejected if factory ordered, and it could take 5-6 months....

One of the dealerships in Montreal told me the same thing. I definitely knew it was BS. I don't understand how can dealerships get away with such lies.
It is very rare to find a good dealership, good salesman and a good manager when I say good I mean TRANSPARENT

That's how GM Canada roles, no one cares about the customer just the mighty dollar and how many cars they sell (excluding delivery of the vehicles).

I've learned a lot during my process with the C7, all I will say is that I will NEVER allow this to happen again.

Same here, I will never ever order again specially from GM, problem is I could not find any similar combination any where in Canada.
Now my salesman is saying the car is built and there is no for them to track it, is there any truth in this? because I find it hard to believe that you can't track a $60k purchase in the 21st century
