I'm looking for a hard shell paint-able tonneau cover for my 2013. Does anyone know if they make such a thing???

I seriously doubt it. It would have to attach differently than the stock version, using hard points. A flying hard cover is a serious liability issue...

That said, it would be nifty for those of us who keep the top down all summer.

Nobody makes one, no reason someone could not make a custom molded hardshell.

The shop that made the custom 2015 convertible Z/28 had a hardshell tonneau cover over their top. I wonder how or who made it??

Just researched the hard cover on the Z/28 and it was custom made. The speedshop that made the Z/28 is called BlackDog Speedshop just outside of Chicago. I tried to email them but the email would not go thru.

I got an email back from Eric at BlackDog today:

Thanks for the interest. We are in the process of making the hard shell available. We can make you one , but you need to understand that it is a one piece and not able to fit into your trunk , unless you would like to have if fold able which we should be able to do for you. The item would take about 3 weeks to make and cost is approximately $ 900.00 just primed so you could have paint matched.

It's not bad for a custom made hardcover. I'd like to see more pics and just how it fits though before making a decision in the future. I can't buy one right now because I was laid off work a month ago.
