Chevrolet Customer Service

Where are you on this? How many threads is it going to take for you or someone else at GM look into this problem for us?

Look at the threads. Half of us have dipshit dealership experiences where they are "unable to replicate" the issue despite being given specific instructions that they inevitably don't follow, or are told, "It's normal.".

I've got yet another appointment at my local dealership scheduled for this upcoming Wednesday. This will be visit number 5 on the topic.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=461439

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=459163

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=359502

I'm at work right now, which blocks Facebook, otherwise I'd post the dozen other FB threads on the 1LE forum there where people are complaining about this as well.

Can we get a TSB out for this issue please, or at least give us a way to fight this with the idiots at our local dealerships?

And for those of you about to give me the PIC5819A TSB number, that description doesn't match our problem. So while I'm happy that some of you got your shocks replaced with this, my dealership went ahead and drove around on broken pavement at low speeds (which does NOT create the problem), and recorded the ensuing sounds as "normal".

GM customer care was really helpful on here, they helped me replaced my rear bumper very quick through a somewhat stubborn dealership. I think for big issue like this, they have to take time and process with engineers and all the logistic stuff..But I guess well see if they response.

The dealer in Tucson is terrible. Got hit with a survey and I replied with a lengthy response talking about their lack of knowledge on the car, poor service, etc. and received 0 response.

Let me try:

Dear Billy,

We sure are sorry to see you having trouble. You should take it to your dealer where trained professionals will help you with all your needs. They may tell you that horrible noise is normal, but hey, it might go away on its own, you never know. Sure hope it all works out for you Billy. Please let us know how things turn out. Gosh darn it, we care.

Was it Watson? I called the service department once to ask about my clutch and had to leave me number for them to call me back. They didn't call me back.

I'm not defending C.S, but like I wrote in an other thread, my theory is, it is vacation season after all .

Last post by CS was on 07-21-2016,@ 02:39 PM.

That would be a Thursday :cigarette:

I iterate again, in some establishment's crews, this is skeleton staff season.

Try calling this number, it's Chevrolet customer service:
1-800-222-1020
Or
GM's # is:
1-800-462-8782

This has always gotten me immediate results, I hope it works out for you. Keep us posted.
