So much for objective journalism

It's good to see journalists take an unbiased approach to reviewing a car. Lol

"I have never been to a car show of American iron and someone lifted the hood to brag about a V6. Sorry, it is the truth."
Clearly this person has never met anyone that owns certain GM Turbo V6 powered vehicles.

Quote:
"I rented one two years ago and did not care for it at all. To me it was cheap looking inside and lacked anything bad ass."
And now the journalist (and I'm using that lightly) apparently doesn't know that's a Gen5 and he's writing about Gen6.

Quote:
"Anyway, I do hope this new ZL 1 does good."
Unless he's hoping the ZL1 will be a hero, then I think he means well. Not good.

Quote:
"What concerns me is when you load this cat up with options you are getting close to the base Corvette model."
Umm, what? base Corvette is 56,445 with no options. So the base ZL1 is already ~6,000.00 more expensive.

Mark doesn't really seem to know all that much.

Is that "article" for real? The guy sounds like a drunken John Rambo wrote an essay. I can almost hear him say "durr" in between poorly constructed un-researched thoughts he somehow managed to type and upload onto the interwebs.

Not Rambo but definitely has an ego.

This is probably the best publicity he's ever had. I would delete the thread and save countless minutes of wasted internet time on that...site he "writes" on.

I wouldn't consider that journalism. Looks more like a 5th graders attempt at finishing an essay 10 minutes before it's due in class.

Don't know what that article had to do with the title...and the content shows a slim understanding of anything automotive.

Nice Try "FastMuscle".....

And this guy gets paid to drive cars and poorly write blog posts about them... the rest of us are clearly doing something wrong with our lives. Companies seriously let any joke of a blog test their sh!t now?

Anyone one that took 2 years in trade school and wrenched for 5 years, 30 years ago, sure sounds like an expert to me. 15 years of tires and 15 years of Diesel engines. But I guess you don't have to have a clue to be a journalist. I think he was hopped up on meds when he wrote that gem. I would expect a piece like that for a grammar school project.
