How much spare oil for track event
Obviously a lot of variable here but how much extra oil should I have for a track event? My car doesn't seem to burn much oil during regular driving but I imagine it would use it up faster during track driving.

A quart should be plenty, especially since your car dosent burn

If you need more than a quart, something bad has gone down.

I usually have one full quart plus however much of a quart left over from the previous oil change in the trunk at all times - in both of my two newer cars. It's not like a second quart bottle is such a tough thing to find a place for.
I don't think I've ever had to add more than about 1/4 qt at a track day. Norm
