Airaid intake combined with ram air
so airaid only has 2 versions for the 2010 camaro right? for the v6 and the v8?
i want to get a Ram Air Hood from Suncoast Creations and they sell the airaid system along with their scoops, my question is, is it the same system? or some other system they modified, i looked on airaids website and it seems to be the same.... except suncoast wants 500bucks and hennesseyper. store only wants like 340.... same system though right? |

I know that Airaid has worked with other hood manufacturers to make dedicated kits to fit their hoods. These are usually only available from the hood manufacturer, not direct from Airaid. Check with Suncoast to see if this is the case.
Hennessey and Airaid kits are not the same.

Well if it's an Airaid, then it is the same one that Airaid sales(I was thinking of their own). BUT it may not be the same one as Suncoast sells.

I was looking at that hood as well and I fail to see how they get ram from the hood into your airbox. I would quess they would have to use some sort of ducting or molded form to get air from the inlet of the scoop to the box. Have you seen this setup?

I have not seen the set up. Typically Suncoast will use our systems to design their "ram air hoods", but we do not have anything to do with it. Thanks, David |

Does your standard setup generate any positive pressure at speed?
