Motorsports Ranch Cresson 1.7 CCW
Vintage and I were out at Motorsports Ranch today and just wanted to post my videos from the PDR. This was my second track day with the car and my first time driving MSR when it was dry weather. Session 4 I managed to put down a 1:26 but there is still a ton to improve on. My first track day I left traction on and this time I went with Sport 1 from the PTM menu. HUGE difference on the track, way more power coming out of the corners. Need more seat time at this track and my goal by this time next year is to run closer to a 1:20-1:22.

tgood - it was a blast and great meeting you in person!!!! my videos will be up soon but is there a good program for editing so you folks don't get stuck with boring 17 minute sessions?
not that you guys asked, but my quickest lap on video that I have seen is 1:23.89, which for me felt quick but it is my first time at Cresson . . . and it was 82+ degrees. my favorite video is m chasing a '69 Camaro (custom built, blower monster, rocket) for an entire session - I could hear the screws a mile away |

I use windows movie maker, super easy to use, just make sure you "save for HD display"

I was there in Novice at this week's TNIA. Never got a clean lap on warm tires due to traffic but had a blast. Planning on all three remaining ones at Cresson. Being a true Novice, car was easy to drive. Quicker than the GT4 running with me.

So many local 1LE's! Great videos and hopefully we can all run at MSR sometime soon.

Short review: AWESOME, and this motor had no issues. After 5 sessions at abut 15-17 minutes each, the car was perfect (driver, less than perfect). What blows me away is this 3,700+ lb. car's turn in and corner exit with power. The front end is predictable and crisp with loads of grip while the eLSD works magic on powering out of turns. One day I will go to Sport 2 and see if I can handle it, but I believe in the safety of nannies. Last edited by Vintage; 04-17-2017 at 01:12 PM. |

I'm doing Eagles Canyon on 4/29. Think the next MSR 1.7 CCW is 5/20 and I plan on attending that one.
