Can ABL be added to dash trim that is painted?

As title states. I have custom painted dash trim that is the solid black plastic under the paint. It use to be fabric. Has anyone added ABL with this sort of painted trim? If so, can you show me pictures?

Unlike the door panels, the dash mounted ABL light output, will be totally dependant on the artificially induced gap(space), that you will introduce on the dash trim, as you re-install it back on the dash.

I have pics of my red dash ABL, posted in a thread here a few years back.

Yes the light is actually projected onto the gap above the dash pieces not through the dash pieces. Like CamaroDude said, how well it projects is dependant on your gap

Depends on what color you want?
dealer only has red and ice blue.
SJM autoprod or Gen5Diy have several color choices.
Where did you get the pipe from

I gave them the part number for the bulb/harness. I don't think the pipe can't be bought separate. Its suppose to come with the inserts as a kit

Yup /\ he's correct on part numbers. I had them double check if by looking up a 2013 Camaro for "door panel insert light" and it was the same number for the blue (or silver as GM calls it).
