anyone ever seen larry the cable guy at one of his shows? i have some tickets for tommorow in austin and wondering if its a pretty good show, not a die hard fan or anything just happend to get some free tickets to the show and curious

Most peeps don't know this but he is a Nebraska boy. He gave a very inexpensive concert($4) on July fourth at Memorial stadium here in Lincoln. It will be broadcast in January on the Comedy central channel. It is the largest concert ever done by a stand-up comic. My son went and said it was great! And for free, why not go? Git-R-done!

wow 4 bucks thats crazy yeah here the tickets are going for 35 a peice and i got 4 from work for free so i couldnt pass it up , heck if the tickets werent free i couldnt afford the $8 beers !!

i just got back from the show and it was hilarious , i didnt stop laughing the whole time id recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity to see him in person

Glad you enjoyed the show! The reason it was so cheap here is because he was doing the concert for TV, so they wanted to pack in as many as possible, and mostly because he wanted to do it for all the NU football fans. The season ticket holders had first dibs. They had like 60,000 people. Larry also has a luxury box in the stadium, and he sometimes throws hotdogs out the window during the games!

Saw him in San Jose, CA last year laughed so hard I was cryin for the last 1/2 hour, definately worth going to!!!
