SS Leather Seats
Hello. I found a pair of nice front leather seats from a 2013 SS that I want to buy.
They are both power and my car is base cloth with manual adjustment. Will these seats bolt right in and work? Do I need to make any changes to the wiring harness? Please let me know.

Can someone please respond?
I have factory cloth up front with manual slide forward/backwards and power recline. I found some really nice SS full power seats. What do I need to make these work in my car?

Can you remove your passenger seat, drive to where the others are and just set the new one in to see if once it plugs in it works? Removal of the seats is a very quick process only two bolts then you will know for sure before you drop money on it.

Pretty solid idea... Surprised its only 2 bolts... figured it would be 4...
The seats I'm looking at buying are online so I wont be able to physically look at them but I guess I could get seller to take a pic of wiring harness and compare to mine... Anyone know if this will work or not for sure from personal experience?

I really need some help on this. I've been quoted well over a thousand by upholsters to custom cover the front two seats.
I can get a MINT set of factory leather for around $700. Need to know if it will work. Asked seller but still waiting for response.

Having just redone my interior seats, I can tell you GM's "leather seats" is a bit misleading. The seating surfaces are leather. The side bolsters and some of the other parts that look leather, aren't. THey are in fact vinyl.
If you want real leather seats all the way round around, $1.5k is fairly reasonable. It is a lot of labor. And depends on the leather you use. |
