I doubt lowering the engine or trans will not be worth the trouble . What are you trying to accomplish by doing it ????????

Depends on how much you go. Mine is lowered 1/2" through the mount and no issues. Eventually the trans mount would be an issue and need to be lowered. And there's things like headers that may get dangerously close to the front subframe. My 2" ARH headers were just about touching at 1/2" down and it wouldn't go any further without beating the frame or header.

I didn't notice any benefit from the lower CG.

You lower the center of gravity of the entire car and improve handling. It really needs a dry sump to lower it a lot before I think it'd be noticed.

A dry sump is going to be very expensive , and lowering only the engine and trans only a 1/2 inch will make no noticeable difference on the center of gravity . Lowering the whole car will ,but you already know that I expect. My bad , I left out the word NOT in my previous post , so it would not be worth it .

No I have a Gforce aluminum, much better than stock. You can always space the mid-mount 1/2 of what you do the engine drop to ensure the joint isn't stressed if running stock if I recall how it mounts. What are you claiming is the primary purpose?

Lower CG is a small added benefit, and a move in the right direction, not the primary purpose.
Massive supercharger fitting under the stock hood?
