Top Down/Up While Driving?

Not sure why i would ever do this but I have only really driven my vert from the dealer and put it in storage. So not sure why anyone would do this other than to impress someone? Anyone with valid experience with this?

I live off a dirt road. No way I’m going down that thing with the top down. As soon as I hit the end of the dirt road top goes down. Then I start the top up when I see it coming headed home. Love not having to stop to do it. Awesome car !!!

Ive done it many times - especially if Im coming up on a big bunch of dust from farmers working the fields or a quick rain storm. Flip on the flashers, slow down to 20 or so, run the top up and then move on. So nice to not have to stop / pull over and take the tonneau off. So glad I held out for the Gen 6.

I do it quite a bit when driving through low speed neighborhoods or pulling into parking lots. Beats sitting in the parking lot/driveway as the thing moves.

Do it all the time, when the weather starts getting cold at night I wait for a long red light and the top goes back up just like windows/sunroof on a non convertible car, not my fault it looks so cool when its happening I am sure people might think its showing off but when I have my 9 year old son in the car and he gets cold I really don't care what people think, I also get lots of compliments and everyone trying to race me at a red light but what can you do?

Equally as cool... using the key fob to start the car and drop the top before I get to it in the parking lot. Especially love it after a long days work. Hop in and start having fun.

I love the car and super glad I go the drop top for many reasons.

Love my vert when I drive it I am driving it with the top down, and I love the new feature of being able to put the top up while driving plus not having to pull the boot out of the trunk or pulling over to raise the top.

I also love the feature of dropping the top with the remote.

So if you are going too fast will the top be blocked from going down?
