Bittersweet upgrade

It's been a long while since I've posted on here, but I still do a whole lot of lurking around the forums when it's a slow night at work. That being said, figured I would share a few updates.

Lots happened to me over the last few years. Bought a house, bought a couple motorcycles, bought a truck, and kept racking up miles on my 2012 Camaro LS(along with all the others of course). But after just shy of 7 years ownership and over 110,000 miles my time with my LS came to an end a couple weeks ago.

Was in an accident that caused the side curtain airbags to blow(no steering wheel or dash ones though). The damage to the car itself wasn't that bad, I coulda fixed it myself easily enough, but with the airbags blown insurance totalled my baby. Spent some time dealing with the insurance hassle but finally sorted it out and got paid for the Camaro, then the hunt was on for something to replace it.

Wasn't sure I was even going to get another Camaro right now. Much as I loved mine I just thought it would be logical to get something more practical and maybe get another Camaro down the road. So I looked into a lot of different options. But then I came across a deal I just couldn't pass up.

So I'm now officially swayed to the V8 side with a new-to-me 2012 Camaro SS Convertible

Thanks guys. Loving the new ride, but still sad about my LS. I had planned on basically never getting rid of that car. While I always loved the V8 Camaros, I never had any overwhelming desire to trade mine in for one, I was more than happy with the V6(I mean it does have the same or more HP than most of the old V8 engines). But looks like my hand was forced, and I guess I can't really complain. Lol.

Thanks! Around here it's pretty much always a good time of year to drop the top. Only when its raining and a few days a year when it actually gets cold will I be riding with the roof up. My dad has an older BMW 3 series vert, but this is my first convertible. So far put more miles on it with the roof down and plan to keep that up.
