Pepsi Commercial
I had this video pop back up in my Youtube recommendations again 10 years later. It's the Jeff Gordon Pepsi commercial where he drives the Camaro around with the salesman in the passenger seat. Funny commercial, great driving but nothing new, I think literally everyone has seen it. What caught my eye this time is on the windshield the year is '09. Which made me think '10 was the first year for the 5th gen, right? I realize they were sold in '09 but it was still a 2010 model year, right? Am I missing something here, why would the dealer, fake or real, staged or truthful, have the wrong year on the window?

Fictional dealer. To my knowledge no 5th Gen Camaro was released as a 2009 model year. 2010.

As I recall, in 2006, it was projected that the 5th Gen Camaro would be released as a 2009 year model. That, of course, didn't happen. They may have filmed the commercial before they knew that.

I always liked the Camaro fountain of youth commercials. There are 2. One has 2 male friends that drive around town in the SS as kids again. The other is with 2 seniors go on a date and are young again. There still found on YouTube.

I think the sound is doctored in it too. It sounds like my V8 from inside the car when they are driving it (inside camera). I don't think the V6 sounds like that in the real world? If it does then cool.
