Really?

I have a 2013 ZL1 and I stopped by the local chevy dealership as I know a few people just to hang out and the sales manager offered me 35K for my car and didn't even ask how it was modified. They have a 2019 C7, Stingray for 49K. I'm thinking I might have to jump?

Meh. I like your car much better, especially with everything you've done to it to make it unique. Around here, I see C7's all over the place- they are almost as common as anything else on the road in my area. I hardly ever see any ZL1's, though. I know of 4 that I occasionally see, and only one of those is a 5th gen.

I have wrestled with this same dilemma myself a few times... everytime I floor it I know I just cant do it ! One day I will own a Corvette but I think I will be keeping the ZL1 too! The ZL1 is such a beast , easily makes 800 hp reliably and smoked cars that it shouldn't be lol
have you driven the C7 ? Take it for a drive and you will know the answer, it's your decision, do it !!!

It would be hard for me to turn down $35K for my car but it would be to trade it in for a Gen 6 ZL1...

Not a bad offer from a dealer; But I suspect something. Not that vettes are bad (I actually like c7 better than c8), but I wouldn't trade a mint ZL1 for a stingray. A mint Z06 would make me think at least.

The ZL1 is arguably the king of Camaro's. The Stingray is the base model Vette. Think wisely.

If it was a GS or Z06 maybe but not a base 465hp car.

All the more reason to keep it! Getting in and out of that Vette is going to be terrible.
