Possible broken axle???

Just took my car to the drag strip this weekend and had some fun. When I went to do a burnout, I suffered massive amounts of wheel hop. Before that night, I could do burnouts from a dig or sidestep the clutch and have no problems. Now, I'm getting bad wheel hop on the streets. I just recently today started hearing what can only be described as the sound your exhaust makes when it rattles on the frame, and I only hear it when engaging the clutch in first. The car doesn't drive differently and there are no rattles, bumping, shaking, etc even at high speeds... But that noise plus the sudden wheel hop makes me nervous. As far as I can see, the axles look ok but imma get it on a lift in a couple days and check it out. Do you guys have any ideas as to what it might be? ALSO I don't hear any popping while turning or reversing... Just that loud vibrating sound when I'm releasing clutch

If you are getting a vibration when you engage the clutch, that might be the problem.

As for the axles, if you get it off ground and get more than just a bit of play, they are probably on their way out. In and out play is expected, but up and down is not. If the wheel is locked and you get rotational play, that is bad too.

Also check the quibo joints at the diff and transmission as well as the bushings on the toe rods. trailing arms and control arms.

Could be your clutch slipping or maybe the throwout bearing is gone? If the sound only happens when you're engaging the clutch in first, I would think it's something there.

Edit: Are you still on your first stock clutch?

So, the vibrating I was hearing was my exhaust... When I did headers, my tips became unlevel so my left tip is hitting the bumper... The only thing now is the wheel hop. Like I said, I wasn't getting it before but after the track day, I get it anytime the tires try to break traction. The axles seem fine, they have no play, no rattles, no grease, the boots look good. I'm assuming a blew a bushing out or something but I'll find out tomorrow when I put it on the lift. Maybe this'll finally give me an excuse for some BMR trailing arms

I think this is definitely an excuse to buy some BMR stuff. I mean, it's almost irresponsible not to...
